JUVENTUS’ INJURY LIST GETTING SHORTER, BUT NOT FOR EVERYONE: RETURN DATES FOR INJURED PLAYERS REVEALED

Juventus have faced a large number of injuries since the beginning of the season, but the international break has also brought the first encouraging news. Andrea Cambiaso and Juan Cabal are getting closer to returning, while Luciano Spalletti will have to wait considerably longer for some of his key players.

The best news concerns Randal Kolo Muani. The Frenchman underwent surgery on the fifth finger of his right hand following an injury against Atalanta, but Juventus officially announced that the operation was successful and that the striker will remain available to the team.

KOLO MUANI TRAINING – SURGERY WON’T KEEP HIM OUT

Kolo Muani had to undergo osteosynthesis surgery due to a fracture of the proximal phalanx, but the injury will not require a conventional absence lasting several weeks.

The Frenchman can continue training and remains available to Spalletti, which represents a major relief for the coaching staff.

CAMBIASO AND CABAL CLOSER TO RETURNING

Good news has also arrived regarding Andrea Cambiaso. The Italian international completed the first part of training with the team and is expected to be available again after the international break.

A similar plan is in place for Juan Cabal, who is recovering from a minor injury to the semimembranosus muscle in his left thigh. Juventus officially confirmed his diagnosis at the beginning of September.

If his recovery continues according to plan, the Colombian should also return after the international break.

BOGA AND EKHATOR TARGET NOVEMBER

Jérémie Boga and Jeff Ekhator will require a little more patience. Boga is recovering from an injury to the biceps femoris muscle in his left thigh, while Ekhator suffered an injury to the semitendinosus muscle in his right thigh. Juventus had previously officially confirmed both injuries. According to current estimates, their returns are expected during November.

YILDIZ NOT EXPECTED BACK UNTIL MID-DECEMBER

One of the biggest blows for Spalletti is undoubtedly the absence of Kenan Yildiz.

The Turkish international underwent surgery on August 31 for a fracture at the base of the fifth metatarsal bone in his left foot, after which he immediately began a rehabilitation program. According to current expectations, Yildiz could be available again by mid-December.

THURAM AND LOCATELLI – RETURNS EXPECTED IN 2027

The recoveries of Khéphren Thuram and Manuel Locatelli will take even longer.

Thuram underwent surgery on his right knee at the beginning of September, while Locatelli had surgery on the lateral meniscus of his right knee. According to current estimates, Thuram is expected to return at the beginning of 2027, while Locatelli could be back in February or March.

GRABARA FACES THE LONGEST ABSENCE

Juventus suffered a particularly heavy blow with Kamil Grabara’s injury.

The Polish goalkeeper tore the anterior cruciate ligament in his right knee during training and successfully underwent ligament reconstruction surgery on September 23. Juventus confirmed that he will now begin a rehabilitation program.

According to current estimates, his return to the pitch is not expected until March or April 2027.
