Juventus is already working on retaining players who represent important parts of Luciano Spalletti's project. According to reports from Italian media, the Bianconeri are considering contract extensions for Pierre Kalulu and Francisco Conceição. Negotiations are still in the early stages, and the club has not officially confirmed an agreement with either player.
KALULU SET FOR A KEY ROLE
Giovanni Albanese reports that Juventus is preparing an improved contract for Kalulu, who has earned his status as one of the team's defensive pillars through his performances, reliability, and tactical versatility. The French defender currently earns approximately €2.5 million per season, while his current contract runs until the summer of 2029.
Juventus is therefore not under immediate pressure, but the club wants to adjust his salary to reflect his importance to the team. Kalulu can play as a right-back, centre-back, or right-sided centre-back in a back three. His consistency and ability to adapt to different tactical demands have made him an almost indispensable part of Spalletti's team. With a new contract, Juventus wants to officially establish him as one of the senior figures in the dressing room.
PLAN FOR CONCEIÇÃO: CONTRACT UNTIL 2031
At the same time, Juventus is also working on extending its agreement with Francisco Conceição. According to Tuttosport, the club's goal is a contract until 2031, along with a salary increase that would reflect his growing importance. His agent, Jorge Mendes, is expected to travel to Italy by the end of the year, when negotiations could enter a more concrete phase.
The Portuguese winger has become one of Juventus' key players on the right flank. Spalletti has placed significant trust in him, while the club sees him as a player around whom it can build the team's future. During the summer transfer window, Liverpool, Chelsea, and Manchester United made enquiries about Conceição. However, according to the Italian newspaper, none of those contacts developed into a concrete offer, while Juventus showed no intention of letting the Portuguese international leave.

Plans for new contracts show the direction in which Juventus wants to develop the squad.
