Randal Kolo Muani was one of the heroes of Juventus’ impressive 2–1 victory over Celta Vigo in the second round of the Europa League. The French striker scored the decisive goal to complete the Bianconeri’s comeback and, after the match, spoke to Sky Sport Italia about the result, his performance and teammate Nick Woltemade’s goal.
Juventus showed character in Vigo, recovering from a difficult position to secure all three points. After Woltemade’s equaliser, Kolo Muani struck the winner, underlining how important he could be for Luciano Spalletti’s side.
THE GOAL THAT SEALED THE COMEBACK: “WE GAVE EVERYTHING!”
The French international was delighted after scoring the goal that secured Juventus a crucial away victory in Spain.
“We gave everything on the pitch and, on a personal level, I’m very happy to have scored this goal,” Kolo Muani told Sky Sport Italia.
His goal proved particularly important at a moment when Juventus needed someone to take responsibility and make the difference.
SPECIAL PRAISE FOR WOLTEMADE: “HE ALWAYS WORKS INCREDIBLY HARD!”
Kolo Muani did not want to focus solely on his own performance. He also praised Nick Woltemade, whose equaliser sparked Juventus’ comeback.
“I’m very happy for him as well, because he always works incredibly hard. That’s why I’m especially pleased for him. We both managed to score, and I’m very happy about that.”
His comments highlight the mutual respect between the two forwards, whose goals secured an important European victory for Juventus in Vigo. For Spalletti, it is particularly encouraging that both players found the net at a time when the team’s attacking efficiency has been under scrutiny.
A COMEBACK THAT COULD CHANGE THE SEASON: “WE SHOWED ENERGY AND DETERMINATION!”
Juventus faced a difficult challenge against Celta Vigo. The hosts took the lead, but the Bianconeri responded strongly and turned the match around.
Kolo Muani believes the manner of the victory is particularly important for the team’s confidence.
“This is very important for us. We completed a great comeback with a lot of energy and determination. We’re really happy with the result.”
The victory in Vigo gave Juventus three valuable Europa League points, as well as a significant psychological boost ahead of the next round of fixtures. Spalletti’s team demonstrated that it can respond when a match does not go according to plan, an essential quality during a demanding schedule.
NO TIME TO REST: “WE’RE PROFESSIONALS AND READY FOR THE CHALLENGES!”
Juventus will soon face another major test, with Lazio scheduled to visit the Allianz Stadium on Sunday in Serie A.
Kolo Muani is aware of the demanding schedule but insists that the team is ready for the challenges ahead.
“We’re professionals and we always work hard. We know there are a lot of matches coming up, but we’re ready for the challenges ahead.”

KOLO MUANI TAKES RESPONSIBILITY: JUVENTUS HAVE AN IMPORTANT ATTACKING OPTION!
After scoring against Cagliari, Kolo Muani found the net again, this time in a match that delivered a valuable European victory for Juventus. His goals come at a time when Spalletti is working to find the best attacking combination and improve the team’s overall performance in the final third.
The fact that both Kolo Muani and Woltemade scored is particularly encouraging, demonstrating that Juventus have multiple attacking options capable of making the difference.
The victory over Celta Vigo is now behind the Bianconeri, and the next objective is clear: carry that European energy and confidence into their Serie A clash with Lazio.
