Eljif Elmas is once again being linked with a return to Italian football, with Juventus among the clubs to whom the midfielder has been offered.
According to Italian journalist Nicolò Schira, Elmas could leave RB Leipzig, while the player would like to continue his career in Italy. In recent days, an intermediary has offered the midfielder to both Juventus and Napoli.
At the moment, there are no reports of concrete negotiations between Juventus and RB Leipzig. Therefore, the situation should currently be viewed as an opportunity presented to the Bianconeri rather than a transfer that is already at an advanced stage.
Elmas knows Serie A very well. He made his biggest impact in Italy during his time at Napoli, where he won the Serie A title in the 2022/23 season, before joining RB Leipzig in January 2024.
Juventus are working on further strengthening the squad during August, and it remains to be seen whether the club's sporting management will decide to explore the possibility of signing Elmas.
