Guglielmo Vicario is set to join Juventus!
According to Fabrizio Romano, Juventus and Tottenham have reached an agreement for the Italian goalkeeper.
Vicario will arrive on an initial loan deal with a non-mandatory €10 million option to buy at the end of the season. Juventus will also cover his salary during the loan spell.
Vicario wanted the move
The goalkeeper had already given his approval to Juventus and was keen on returning to Serie A.
The Bianconeri continued negotiations with Tottenham and eventually found a formula that allows them to strengthen the goalkeeping department without a major initial investment.
Vicario previously impressed in Italy with Empoli before joining Tottenham in 2023. He will now return to Serie A with the opportunity to compete for the starting role at Juventus.
For Juve, the formula offers limited financial risk and the possibility of signing Vicario permanently for €10 million if he performs well.
