Juventus finish pre-season with a win
Juventus closed out their final test before the new season with a 2-0 victory over their Next Gen side, but the match at the Allianz Stadium lasted only 45 minutes.
The first team dictated play from the start, with Kenan Yildiz in particularly inspired form, causing constant problems for the young Bianconeri's defence. Randal Kolo Muani had several chances too, while at the other end Carlo Pinsoglio also had to intervene.
Conceicao and McKennie for 2-0
Juventus took the lead after just over 15 minutes of play.
Douglas Luiz found Francisco Conceicao, and the Portuguese made the most of the opportunity to put the first team ahead.
The second goal arrived around the half-hour mark. Yildiz produced a brilliant move down the left and delivered the ball into the box, where Weston McKennie finished the action for 2-0.
Juventus could have gone into the break with an even bigger lead, but no further goals came.
The fans cut the second half short
Luciano Spalletti had prepared a raft of changes for the second half, but it practically never began.
In keeping with the tradition of this fixture, the fans ran onto the Allianz Stadium pitch, after which it was decided to end the match at 2-0.
And so Juventus wrapped up their pre-season in an unusual but traditional way.
Now comes what matters most - the start of the new Serie A season.
