David does not want to leave Juventus
The final stretch of the transfer window could be very busy for Juventus, but before any new arrivals the Bianconeri have several outgoing operations to resolve.
According to the latest information from journalist Giovanni Albanese, one of the most complicated situations concerns Jonathan David.
Juventus could make room for another centre-forward, but the Canadian international currently does not want to leave Turin.
Albanese describes the situation very clearly:
"David will not even hear of leaving, which is currently complicating the arrival of another centre-forward."
What does that mean for the Mateta story?
In recent days the name of Jean-Philippe Mateta, the Crystal Palace striker previously linked with Juventus, has resurfaced. In that context the possibility of an operation involving David also appeared. However, Albanese's latest information gives a completely different context: David currently has no intention of leaving Juventus. Even if the club found the right formula for a new striker, the Canadian international's departure would require his consent. That is why any potential swap or Mateta-David operation should not be presented as agreed at this moment.
Nico Gonzalez only wants Atletico
Another complicated situation concerns Nico Gonzalez. Here the balance of power is practically the reverse of the David case. According to Albanese, Luciano Spalletti would like to keep the Argentine, but the player himself wants to leave Juventus.
"Spalletti would like to keep him, but the Argentine has been clear: he does not want to stay and hopes for a return to Madrid, to Atletico."
For now the problem is the offer. Juventus have not yet received a financial proposal from Atletico Madrid they consider good enough to green-light the transfer. That means that, despite the player's desire to leave, his stay in Turin is not yet ruled out.
Cabal has changed his mind about Bologna
There has been a change in the Juan Cabal case as well.
According to the latest information, the Colombian defender is no longer fully convinced he wants to join Bologna. Juventus are therefore scanning the market again in search of a potential alternative solution for his departure. The situation could keep developing right up to the end of the window.
Rugani can go, Gatti only for a serious offer
Juventus are considering the departure of another centre-back.
Albanese reports that a Serie A solution could be found for Daniele Rugani before the market closes, with Monza the club showing the most concrete interest in recent weeks.
Federico Gatti's situation is different.
Juventus have no need to sell him, and his departure would be considered only if a good enough offer arrives.
Juventus want to terminate Milik's contract
Arkadiusz Milik is also on the list of players Juventus are trying to find a final solution for.
The club's plan is to try to reach a contract termination agreement with the Polish striker before the window closes. That would further cut Juventus' wage costs and free up space in the squad.
Departures open the door for Kessie
The whole outgoing strategy also has a financial goal. After the mutual termination of Arthur's contract, according to Albanese, the Brazilian received around two million euros in severance, while giving up roughly six million more owed to him for the final year of his deal.
The expected departures of Mattia Perin and Fabio Miretti should further lighten Juventus' wage bill. That freed-up space could be exactly what the club needs to reach a final agreement with Franck Kessie.
Juventus back in for Sorloth
Juventus still want another out-and-out striker, and Alexander Sorloth is once again a serious option. Sky Sport Italia report that Juventus have renewed contacts with Atletico Madrid. The Norwegian was one of the options at the start of the window, when there was even contact between the player and Luciano Spalletti. Now his name is back in the spotlight.
Nico Gonzalez also features in the talks between the two clubs. Atletico would like the Argentine back on loan with an option to buy, while the Spanish club prefer a permanent sale for Sorloth.
Those differing preferences over the formula are currently the obstacle, but contacts between Juventus and Atletico continue.
DI GREGORIO OFFICIALLY LEAVES JUVENTUS
Juventus today officially announced Michele Di Gregorio's departure to Bournemouth.
The goalkeeper leaves Juventus after two seasons and a total of 84 appearances in all competitions. Juventus state that an agreement was reached with Bournemouth on a loan.
Kamil Grabara arrived in Turin today

Official: Kamil Grabara is Juventus' new goalkeeper
Juventus have officially confirmed the arrival of Kamil Grabara from Wolfsburg. The Polish goalkeeper joins on loan until 30 June 2027, with an option to buy.
Juventus will pay 500,000 euros for the loan, with additional costs of 200,000 euros. The agreement also includes bonuses of up to 300,000 euros depending on targets achieved.
Grabara's option to buy has been set at 11.5 million euros, payable over three financial years. If Juventus activate the buy-out and all bonuses are met, the total value of the deal could reach 12.5 million euros.
The 27-year-old Poland international will strengthen the competition between the posts and battle Guglielmo Vicario for a place in Luciano Spalletti's team.
