Juventus continues to monitor Cher Ndour, one of the Italian midfielders highly rated by the Bianconeri management. According to Tuttosport, the Fiorentina midfielder remains an interesting option for the future, but the Florence-based club is currently not ready to open talks over a move to Turin.
Interest in the 22-year-old midfielder fits into Juventus’ plans to build a squad with a greater number of Italian players. Ndour remains among the profiles being considered by the Bianconeri, while the club continues to monitor his development and growth at Fiorentina.
However, Tuttosport does not report any concrete offer, agreement or timeline for a potential transfer. For now, the situation is one of long-term interest in the player.
FIORENTINA KEEPS NDOUR: Juventus’ Interest Meets a Closed Door
The biggest obstacle to a potential deal at the moment is Fiorentina’s position. According to the same source, Viola are showing no willingness to even sit down with Juventus at the negotiating table.
Fiorentina see Ndour as a player who can continue to develop and help the team progress.
The rest of the season should show how ready he is for the next step, both in terms of his performances on the pitch and the greater responsibility he could take on within the team. Any potential transfer would therefore depend on several factors: his development, Juventus’ needs and whether Fiorentina eventually change their current stance.
€30 MILLION VALUATION: How Much Would Juventus Have to Pay?
In an earlier report published by Sportmediaset on September 10, citing Tuttosport, Ndour’s value was estimated at €30 million.
It is important to distinguish that valuation from an official asking price. There is no confirmation that Fiorentina have actually demanded that amount from Juventus, nor that the Bianconeri have submitted an offer. It was a previously reported media valuation, while Tuttosport’s latest report does not provide financial details regarding a potential deal.
NDOUR IN NUMBERS: Three Goals Last Season, Appeared in Every Game This Autumn
According to Tuttosport’s statistical profile, Ndour made 33 Serie A appearances and scored three goals during the 2025/26 season.
So far in the 2026/27 campaign, he has featured in all five of Fiorentina’s league matches, starting four times and coming off the bench once. He has recorded one assist and no goals, with his assist coming against Napoli in Fiorentina’s 1-1 draw. These figures refer exclusively to Serie A.
The midfielder, born in Brescia, stands at 190 centimetres tall. He developed in Atalanta’s youth academy before moving to Benfica and then Paris Saint-Germain. After loan spells at Braga and Besiktas, he joined Fiorentina in February 2025.
JUVENTUS HAVE ALREADY PAID HUGE FEES: Three Major Deals Worth at Least €160 Million
A potential attempt to sign Ndour would open another chapter in the well-known transfer history between Juventus and Fiorentina. Despite their rivalry, the two clubs have completed several major deals in the past.
For Federico Bernardeschi, Juventus paid €40 million. The signing of Federico Chiesa was structured as €10 million for a two-year loan and €40 million for the permanent transfer, with additional bonuses possible. For Dušan Vlahović, the initial transfer fee was €70 million, plus bonuses and related costs.
The basic fees of those three transfers alone amount to €160 million, excluding additional clauses and bonuses. Juventus have therefore already demonstrated a willingness to spend heavily on players from Florence.
That history provides an interesting context for Juventus’ interest in Ndour, but it is not evidence that another deal will happen. Juventus are monitoring the situation, Fiorentina are currently keeping the door closed - and no concrete move from the Bianconeri has yet been confirmed.
