Nico González heading towards Juventus exit
Nico González’s future appears to be increasingly far away from Turin.
According to Nicolò Schira, the Argentine winger is no longer part of Juventus’ plans and the Bianconeri are open to his departure before the end of the transfer window.
His preferred destination remains Atlético Madrid, where he spent last season on loan.
Atlético remains his priority
González enjoyed his time in Madrid and would like to return to Diego Simeone’s side.
His loan did not result in a permanent transfer, meaning he returned to Juventus this summer. However, his position has remained clear: he would welcome another move to Atlético.
Juventus and the Spanish club have already discussed his future, but finding the right financial formula remains the key issue.
Milan and Atalanta emerge as alternatives
While González waits for Atlético, his representatives are also exploring other possibilities.
According to Schira, an intermediary has offered the 28-year-old to both AC Milan and Atalanta.
At this stage, there is no indication that either Italian club has reached an agreement with Juventus. They should therefore be considered alternative options if Atlético fail to make a decisive move.
Juventus ready to sell
Compared with earlier stages of the summer, the situation has now become much clearer.
There had previously been a possibility of González being assessed and potentially reintegrated into the squad. Now, however, Juventus are prepared to move on and are waiting for the right opportunity.
For González, the priority remains unchanged: a return to Madrid and Atlético.
With the transfer deadline approaching, Juventus will hope that interest from Atlético, Milan and Atalanta can help unlock his departure.
