According to the latest information from Romeo Agresti, Juventus are very active in trying to find a solution for the Dutch midfielder. The reliable journalist covering the Turin club reports that in the coming days Juventus will do everything they can to find Koopmeiners a new club. It is another strong signal that the Dutchman is no longer a central part of the Bianconeri's sporting project and that the final stretch of the summer window could bring his departure from Turin.

Agresti's information is not the only sign pointing to a possible parting of ways.
Corriere dello Sport writes that Juventus are speeding up operations related to midfield departures and that Koopmeiners is among the players the club is trying to find a solution for. According to that source, one of the possibilities could be a loan with an option to buy, under terms that would allow Juventus to significantly lighten their wage bill. Such a formula would show just how flexible Juventus are prepared to be in order to find the Dutchman a new home.
From marquee signing to possible departure
The situation is especially striking considering how much Juventus once invested in Koopmeiners.
The Dutchman arrived in Turin from Atalanta in August 2024. Juventus officially announced the transfer at 51.3 million euros, with additional costs and bonuses that could raise the final price of the operation. Expectations were therefore enormous. Koopmeiners was supposed to become one of the pillars of Juventus' new midfield, but his spell in Turin never produced the consistency expected from one of the club's most expensive signings.
Now, two years later, the priority could be finding him a way out.
Roma, Milan and the Premier League among the options
Several potential destinations emerged over the summer. La Gazzetta dello Sport previously wrote about a possible Koopmeiners departure and reported that Juventus could accept a loan. At one point Galatasaray were also mentioned, but according to those reports that option did not appeal to the player himself.
In recent days Roma have appeared in the Italian media as well, along with reports of interest from the Premier League.
Milan have also been mentioned, but at this moment there is not enough solid information to speak of concrete negotiations between the two clubs. None of those destinations should therefore be presented as certain yet.
The coming days could be decisive
The most important change now is in Juventus' own stance. It is no longer just a matter of the club listening to a potential offer. According to Agresti, Juventus are actively trying to find a solution and intend to spend the coming days working on a new home for Koopmeiners. That does not mean a transfer is already agreed.
From a player brought in as one of the biggest signings of the new project, Koopmeiners has reached the end of the window with Juventus actively trying to find him a new club.
