Kerim Alajbegović continues to attract attention across European football. The young Juventus player has been named among the ten candidates for the prestigious award honouring the best young players of 2026.
Juventus officially congratulated their 18-year-old talent on the major recognition, highlighting his progress over recent months and the potential he has shown on the pitch.

The competition for the prestigious award is extremely strong, with Alajbegović finding himself alongside some of the brightest young talents in European football. Alongside the Juventus player, the ten nominees include Ayyoub Bouaddi, Pau Cubarsí, Yan Diomande, Lennart Karl, Eli Junior Kroupi, Lamine Yamal, Johan Manzambi, Ibrahim Maza and Warren Zaïre-Emery.
The nomination carries particular significance for the young Bosnia and Herzegovina international, who is now officially among just ten players competing for this major individual honour.

The youngster took a major step forward in his career this summer by joining Juventus, where he was immediately given the opportunity to work with Luciano Spalletti's first team.
The fact that Spalletti is seriously considering him for the senior squad was also demonstrated by Alajbegović being included among the players called up for the major Serie A clash against Milan.

One of the biggest names among the candidates is undoubtedly Lamine Yamal, but simply being included in such distinguished company represents major international recognition for Alajbegović. The winner of the prestigious award will be announced at a ceremony in London on 26 October.
